Ash: A Sweet House Panther
I was born on 6.29.08. Our humom’s friend’s mom’s cat had just had me and my siblings. Humom saw our pictures and had to have one! On 8.19.08 at Eight weeks old my humom came to get me. She initially wanted a girl kitty but there weren’t any! She couldn’t resist my face and spunk she took me home! She had brought a box with her to take me home in but I didn’t want to stay in it so I kept crying. She took me out and I laid on her lap the rest of the ride home. I was such a good boy! When I first came home, they already had Bruiser and he didn’t like me much, but warmed up to me! -Ash
Jack: A Sour/Sweet Ginger
My new life started on 7.18.14. My humom and catdad has just lost their kitty, Bruiser four days earlier to Kidney failure. Ash was very lonely and they knew he needed a brother and they also knew that they could never replace Bruiser, but they could save a life. That’s where I come in! They decided to go to Kennebec Humane Society in Augusta, Maine. They went in knowing they wanted a grown cat and not a kitten, kittens are adopted quickly. They walked around looking at the kitties and then they saw me. I was rubbing up on the glass anting their attention.
My name was McGuire and I was 2 years old. Humom knew before she even held me that I would be her new furbaby, so of course when she did hold me, they said yes! While waiting to sign the paperwork, I had to go back into the glass cage. Many people were looking and wanting to see me, but too bad for them, humom and catdad had already scooped me up! When humom got and the paperwork it said I was 4, not 2! But of course they still wanted me! Finally it was time to go to my furever home! My first few days I only laid on the stairs or the couch! My one year Adoptiversary was two weeks ago! I get to celebrate two birthdays! 4.14 is my Shelter given birthday and 7.18 is my AdoptiBirthday! -Jack
